Parents who are separating are faced with the often daunting task of making arrangements for their children. This can be the hardest part of the separation. Parents have to deal with so many tough questions:-

  • How do we make a plan that is the best for our children?
  • How will our children cope with our separation?
  • What should we tell our children about our separation? And when?
  • Where are the children going to live?
  • How will they share their time between you?

Family Mediation helps parents reach decisions about these difficult issues. Children can be included in the mediation process enabling parents to better understand their needs.

Evolve Family Mediation is taking part in the Ministry of Justice’s Family Mediation Voucher Scheme which meets up to £500 of mediation costs for families if they need to discuss arrangements for children.

Family Mediation helps couples avoid the exorbitant costs, distress and delays associated with the traditional court process, and provides a more amicable way to resolve disputes, which is so vital when there are children involved.

Please note: During #FamilyMediationWeek there will be a wide variety of free webinars for the public and other professionals working with families (teachers, health practitioners, social workers and more) as well as events for professionals working in Family Justice (lawyers, arbitrators, CAFCASS officers, judiciary and local family justice board members).
