Evolve Family Mediation Accredited MediatorWhy choose an accredited family mediator? The answer is simple: only specially qualified and accredited family mediators can conduct Mediation Information and Assessment Meetings (MIAMs) and sign the forms that are required if you want to take your case to court.

This gives you the confidence and knowledge that your situation is being handled with professionalism and a high level of service – and of course, that you have the support you need if you have to go beyond the MIAM with your separation or divorce.

Additionally, accreditation is also recognition of a superior level of experience and a commitment to quality. The Law Society has awarded Rebekah Gershuny the status of Accredited Family Mediator. This award means that the Law Society recognises Rebekah’s experience, and the high standard of her work as a family mediator.

It also means that Rebekah is recognised as a Family Mediation Council Accredited Mediator (FMCA) and is approved by the Ministry of Justice to carry out family mediation, and to provide mediation information and assessment meetings (MIAMs).

The award of FMCA status means that Rebekah is recognized as having achieved a high level of competence in mediating all issues arising following divorce or separation, including matters in relation to children and financial issues.  It also means that Rebekah is committed to maintaining high standards of family mediation, and ensuring that she adheres to the high standards of the Family Mediation Council Code of Practice.

As a Law Society Accredited Mediator, clients can trust that Rebekah’s skills as a mediator are of the highest standard, setting you in good stead during this difficult time.
